Tejano Music by Tejano Gold Countdown

Tejano Music group Los Badd Boyz Del Valle are a South Texas band with a lot of talent and heart. The Badd Boyz consists of brothers Lonnie and Chuck Gonzales, cousin Rocky Beltran, and Adam Garcia. The Gonzales are first generation musicians, while Beltran is a third generation musician. All were previously members of other bands, and one day decided to unite. Growing up, they listened to all genres of music, but the conjunto music del Valle de Tejas is what inspired the guys musically and artistically.

The Tejano Music band was formed in the summer of 2001 and began playing at bars, cantinas, social events, and local city festivals; on occasion, they were a support act for some of the more popular Tejano/Conjunto artists that would make their tour stops in the valley. The band’s popularity started to grow and was soon winning awards and garnering recognition at the South Texas Conjunto Music Association Awards even without having recorded a CD. It wasnt until November 2004 that the Badd Boys began recording their first production for Sniper Records in McAllen, TX.  (For more info…myspace.com/losbaddboyzdelvalle)
